A loneliness strikes as one passes through and enters an empty room with bare walls, holding nothing at all. It feels hollow. The room has lost its soul. Those empty walls keep calling out, as if longing for someone to talk to — not merely as decoration, but as a shield against the biting silence. Let the walls and paintings serve up their stories. Let them pour out their ripples and sparks. Who knows — we might just want to be swept away with them.

Dinding Meminta (The Wall Requests) is a group exhibition initiated by Galeri Ruang Dalam Art Space. In this exhibition, Anagard explores used cardboard material, transforming it into wall- or brick-shaped canvases, which are then painted using the stencil technique with spray paint. As for the presentation, this work responds to a corner section of the gallery.
